HSBC AGM
Intercontinental Hotel o2
1 Waterview Drive London SE10 0TW
Friday 2nd May – Start 10am
Will you be joining the Committee at the HSBC AGM on Friday 2nd May?
We hope so, because we need you there supporting us. If you are, please note that this year the meeting will commence at 10am, one hour earlier than usual. So we are recommending for you to get into the meeting ASAP; remembering that you will need to clear security and get seated in good time.
We don’t feel we have time to get together to protest outside this year. I’m sure you are more than capable of voicing your thoughts regarding CLAWBACK in front of The Board.
I know some of you may be concerned about coming by yourself but please don’t let that put you off. You will be with a fantastic group of friends and you will receive a very warm welcome!
DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR ID !
We have seen a few requests for our T Shirts so they can be worn to Photo Bomb at sporting events abd at the AGM.
We have ordered 50 Red T SHIRTS: The sizes are as follows:
- 10 Medium
- 25 Large
- 15 X Large.
Free to those on a first come first served basis. All we ask is for a small donation to cover post and package. Send your request to the campaign email address with your name and delivery address and we will get them sent out to you.

For those of us that have supportive MPs, you could invite them, or their researchers, to the AGM. If they accept then we need to know and Steve Bradbury will get them into the meeting via Proxy.
Thanks,
Nancy Ball
Would you like to come to this years HSBC AGM, and show your support for our clawback campaign?
We would love to see everyone there, preferably wearing red.
We do have some spare T shirts from last years event, so don’t worry if you haven’t anything red that you consider suitable.
The great news is that you do not need to be a shareholder to gain access to the meeting.
Last year we issued proxy votes for 36 people to come and join us. Lets try and beat this figure.
If you want to support, but do not have any shares, please e mail steve Bradbury at my email and he will arrange for you to have some proxy shares.
He will arrange for your name to be submitted to shareholderquestions@hsbc.com.
All members requesting proxy voting form should receive an e-mail containing a proxy form just before Easter. Please chase if nothing arrives. Print the form off, and check the details are correct. Remember to take the proxy form with you to the AGM
NB everyone wishing to attend, whether holding your own or proxy shares will also need to bring some form of ID with you to gain entry. Passport or driving licence will suffice.
The event starts at 10:00, so please allow some time to get through the door entry process, we recpmmend getting there by 9:30am
To get access to the AGM:-
- You need to bring ID to prove who you are.
- You need to be a shareholder or be a proxy.
NOTE if your shares are held with a nominee EG Invest Direct, you need a letter from them confirming the shares they hold on your behalf. I think technically this is called “a letter of representation confirming how many shares you are permitted to vote on”.
- To ensure you are expected you should e mail:- shareholderquestions@hsbc.com
So they can add you to the physical attendance list (I’m not sure this is an absolute requirement, but should make getting admitted easier)
- Suggest arriving by 9.30 as they’ll be security to get through and a place to leave items they won’t allow in the hall EG luggage.
