Its inhuman Unfair unjust and immoral
On her own, Alison has no other source of income to fall back on.
Having worked for Midland/ HSBC in both full time and part time roles since 1978 she will see her pension reduce by £ 1934.28 when she reaches State Retirement age, at 66.
This will reduce her pension figure by almost 14% after serving loyally for just over 40 years.
Alison says she had no understanding of the term “State deduction” until she joined our campaign and feels very angry that it is only now she is learning of the impact this will have.
“I came back after just two short maternity leaves and gave 200%. After all the loyalty during the hard times, long service, and barely any sick leave, working unpaid overtime daily, this is a kick in the teeth. This is a huge percentage to deduct; it’s inhumane, unfair, unjust and immoral”.
